Hand-built vessels and sculptural work in clay.

Consuelo Becerra is an Argentine-born artist working in clay, based in Miami, Florida. She builds each piece by hand, with white glazes and details in gold, and lets the material keep the marks of how it was made: torn rims, encrusted surfaces, forms that hold their own irregularity.

Her relationship with clay begins where the material does, in the ground itself. Her work has been shown in group exhibitions and pop-ups in New York and Miami, and in contemporary art benefit auctions.
